La tayuyá
Ingredients
1 pound of Corn dough
150 milliliters of Lard
1 Onion
2 Chiltomas
2 Chilies
2 cups of Ground beans
1 Culantro sprig
2 Garlic cloves
Grated sweetener or panela
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the la tayuyá, first prepare the dough as if making a tortilla, adding salt and a dash of oil.
Step 2 : In a pan with hot lard, sauté the ground beans with all the other ingredients.
Step 3 : On the "raw" tortilla, place the ground beans and grated sweetener or panela.
Step 4 : Then cover all ingredients with the same dough, shaping it back into a tortilla.
Step 5 : Cook the la tayuyá slowly on a griddle or pan until well done.
Step 6 : Serve hot.
