Stuffed Tostones
Ingredients
2 Green plantains
Oil
½ Cooked and shredded chicken breast
Chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon of Mustard
4 tablespoons of Cream cheese
Vinegar
Tomato sauce
200 grams of Tuna in water
Lemon juice
1 Chopped onion
Pickles
3 tablespoons of Mayonnaise
3 tablespoons of Ketchup sauce
Preparation
Step 1 : Plantains are washed, peeled, and cut into approximately 2 cm wide pieces.
Step 2 : Heat some oil in a skillet and fry the plantains until slightly golden.
Step 3 : Once golden, remove and place them in a lemon squeezer to form the baskets, shaping them with your hands.
Step 4 : Then, fry the baskets again until toasted on the outside, drain and set aside.
Step 5 : On the other hand, mix the cooked and shredded chicken breast with chopped cilantro, mustard, cream cheese, and vinegar.
Step 6 : Mix everything and set aside.
Step 7 : To the tuna, add chopped onion, pickles to taste, mayonnaise, and ketchup tomato sauce, then mix.
Step 8 : Finally, fill the baskets with the prepared fillings.
