Atolillo is a delicious typical drink from Nicaragua, especially for Christmas. With milk, rice, spices, and raisins, its preparation is simple: cook the milk with sugar and cinnamon, add blended rice, mix and cook on low heat. Ready to enjoy.
In a pot, combine milk, sugar, and cinnamon over medium heat, stirring constantly until reduced by half.
Then add soaked rice, blended in water and strained, mix well with rum to taste.
Lower the heat and continue stirring until reaching the desired consistency, about 40 minutes.

1 liter of Milk
¾ cup of Sugar
Cinnamon sticks
¼ cup of Soaked, blended, and strained rice
Rum
Preparation
