Condensed Milk

Condensed milk is an essential ingredient in baking. You can make it at home with sugar, water, vanilla, and powdered milk. Once ready, enjoy its delicious flavor in your favorite desserts.

To prepare the Condensed Milk, powdered milk is taken and added gradually to the mixture obtained from boiling sugar and water.

The vanilla essence is incorporated when the mixture has already taken on a smooth texture and is allowed to cool before blending. Once ready, it can be stored at room temperature for a month, in the refrigerator for up to two months.

Ingredients

2 cups of Powdered milk

2 cups of Sugar

2 cups of Water

1 tablespoon of Vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the homemade condensed milk mixture, start by grinding the sugar in a blender for about 3-5 minutes until it reaches a fine consistency similar to powdered sugar.

Step 2 : Meanwhile, boil water in a pot and add the powdered sugar to achieve a smooth mixture over medium heat.

Step 3 : After 5 minutes, add the vanilla and let it sit until the sugar has completely dissolved.

Step 4 : Once the sugar mixture is ready, let it cool slightly and transfer it to the blender.

Step 5 : Gradually add the powdered milk, continuing to blend, until a thick and homogeneous consistency is obtained.

Step 6 : It is recommended to store homemade condensed milk at room temperature for a maximum of 30 days, or up to 60 days in the refrigerator.
