Ingredients

8 Eggs

3 tablespoons of Baking powder

3 cups of Pinol

2 cups of Sugar

Oil for greasing the pan

5 cups of Sugar for the syrup

¼ White rum

4 cups of Water

Raisins

Cloves

Cinnamon stick

4 liters of Milk for the filling

¼ cup of Rice

3 cups of Sugar

1 ½ Butter stick

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the Delicious Pío V, start by beating the eggs and adding the sugar.

Step 2 : Then add the pinol with the baking powder and bake the mixture at 400°F for 13 minutes.

Step 3 : Next, prepare the syrup by boiling sugar, rum, water, raisins, cloves, and cinnamon until thickened.

Step 4 : Then, cook the milk with sugar and butter, add the ground and strained rice, stirring constantly for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Step 5 : To serve the Delicious Pío V, place the cake on a dish, pour the syrup over it, and add the filling.
