Ingredients

1 pound of Pujagua corn

5 cups of Water

¾ cup of Milk

1 ½ cup of Sugar

Cinnamon sticks

2 tablespoons of Bitter orange juice

Preparation

Step 1 : Soak the corn for 12 hours.

Step 2 : Then, grind it in a mill without water until obtaining a fine dough.

Step 3 : In a pot, combine the ground corn with 5 cups of water and stir.

Step 4 : Next, strain the mixture and let the strained liquid rest for 3 hours.

Step 5 : Pour the clean liquid into a pot, add milk, sugar, and cinnamon, and cook until thickened.

Step 6 : Once the preparation is ready, remove from heat, add the bitter orange juice, and let it cool before serving.
