Fresco de Grama is a traditional Nicaraguan beverage perfect for hot days. With its pleasant taste and freshness, it is ideal to enjoy at any time. Its preparation is simple, boil water with grama, let it cool, strain, and add salt, sugar, and lemon. Refreshing and delicious.
In a pot, pour the water with the grama and cook for 12 minutes.
After cooling and straining the liquid, add salt, sugar, and lemon juice, mix, and it will be ready to serve.
To enjoy to the fullest, you can add ice as desired when serving.
Fresco de Grama
Ingredients
5 Bunches of grama
1 ½ liter of Water
Sugar
½ cup of Lemon juice
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot, pour the water with the grama and cook on the fire for about 12 minutes to release color and flavor.
Step 2 : Once ready, let it cool and strain.
Step 3 : Add salt, sugar, and lemon juice to the strained liquid, stir well and it will be ready to serve.
Step 4 : When serving, add ice to taste.
