Ponche de Leche
Ingredients
2 liters of Milk
2 tablespoons of Vanilla
Cinnamon sticks
Sugar
3 Egg whites
3 Egg yolks
Lemon zest
White rum
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot, pour the milk at room temperature, along with the vanilla, cinnamon sticks, and sugar.
Step 2 : Stir well to dissolve the sugar and place it on the heat until it boils for about 5 minutes.
Step 3 : In a pitcher, beat the egg whites until they form froth.
Step 4 : Then add the yolks, lemon zest, and mix until it thickens.
Step 5 : Finally, add the warm milk and white rum to taste.
Step 6 : Stir well and serve hot.
