1 kilogram of Beef

1 kilogram of Bones with beef

1 kilogram of Cassava

2 Chiltomas (local green peppers)

2 Large onions

5 Cloves of garlic

1 Calabaza (pumpkin squash)

1 Large green plantain

2 Chayotes

2 Carrots

1 Cabbage

Chopped cilantro

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation (simple version)

Step 1 : Boil the meat and bones with meat in water, adding the chiltomas, onions, crushed garlic, cilantro, salt, and pepper, for one hour to obtain a tasty broth. Beef Soup - Preparation - Step 1

Preparation

Step 1 : In a large pot with plenty of water, cook the beef and bones with meat along with the chiltomas, onions, chopped cilantro, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper to taste for one hour.

Step 2 : Then, add the vegetables starting with those that take longer to soften, such as cassava in chunks, carrots, and green plantain.

Step 3 : After a few minutes, add the chayotes, cabbage, and calabaza.

Step 4 : Once the vegetables are tender, turn off the heat and serve accompanied by rice.
