Arroz aguado
Ingredients
2 pounds of Pork shoulder and ribs
1 pound of Rice
8 Potatoes
4 Small carrots
2 Large onions
12 Chayotes
4 Bell peppers
6 Sour oranges
4 Garlic cloves
3 Tomatoes
Cilantro
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the dish, start by cooking the pork with onion, garlic, and bell pepper.
Step 2 : Then add the chayote and then the potato, followed by the rice.
Step 3 : Next, grate the tomatoes and add them along with the carrot.
Step 4 : Squeeze the juice from the oranges and add it to the stew.
Step 5 : Reduce the heat and let it simmer.
Step 6 : Finally, serve the dish with cilantro sprinkled on top.
