Ingredients

½ cup of Lard

2 Chopped onions

4 Chopped garlic

3 Chopped bell peppers

5 Chopped tomatoes

1 Bunch of mint

1 ½ pound of Shredded beef flank

2 cups of Diluted corn dough

2 ½ cups of Beef broth

Achiote

Sour orange juice

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : In a large pot, start by sautéing the lard with the onion and garlic until golden.

Step 2 : Then, add the bell peppers, tomatoes, and mint, cooking for a few more minutes.

Step 3 : Next, incorporate the shredded beef flank, diluted corn dough, broth, achiote, and orange juice, mixing all the ingredients well.

Step 4 : Adjust salt to taste and cook the mixture until the dough is well cooked.
