Ingredients

2 pounds of Yuca

½ pound of Brown sugar

1 pound of Dry cheese

½ liter of Oil

1 tablespoon of Baking powder

Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1 : Begin by washing and peeling the yuca, then grate it along with the cheese.

Step 2 : Next, mix the grated yuca and cheese with the brown sugar and baking powder.

Step 3 : Then, form small balls from the mixture and fry them in hot oil until golden on the outside.

Step 4 : Once ready, drain the bunuuelos on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Step 5 : Finally, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar to taste before serving.
