Nicaraguan Mango Syrup
Ingredients
10 Mangoes with seeds
1 Portion of raisins
1 cup of Sugar
300 grams of Almonds
1 liter of Water
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the recipe, start by peeling the mangoes and cutting them into long strips.
Step 2 : Then, grind the almonds.
Step 3 : Subsequently, boil water with sugar in a pot, and once ready, add the cut mangoes, ground almonds, and raisins.
Step 4 : Cook on low heat for about 2 hours, stirring constantly to ensure all ingredients are well mixed and to obtain a smooth mixture.
Step 5 : After this cooking time, remove from heat and let it cool before serving.
