Ingredients

4 pounds of Water pears

2 pounds of Sugar

1 liter of Water

1 A piece of lemon peel

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, place a pot with water, sugar, and lemon peel over low heat.

Step 2 : It is important to let the sugar dissolve completely without bringing it to a boil, for approximately 10 minutes.

Step 3 : Stir constantly until the mixture thickens.

Step 4 : Then, add the pears, previously peeled and deseeded, either in pieces or whole.

Step 5 : Cook for about 7 minutes, until they are tender.

Step 6 : Once ready, remove the pears from the pot and place them into glass jars for preservation.

Step 7 : Remove the lemon peel and pour honey into the jars, along with the pears, filling to the brim to prevent air from entering.

Step 8 : Seal the jars and let them cool upside down at room temperature.
