Beef Tail Soup

Beef Tail Soup is a traditional dish with flavors of Nicaraguan cuisine. A mix of beef tail, vegetables, and seasonings that create a tasty and comforting broth, perfect for cold days. Easy to prepare and full of nutrients.

In a pot with oil, sauté onion, cilantro, crushed garlic, and chopped tomato, seasoning with cumin.

Once the ingredients are sautéed, add pieces of tail and sauté for another 10 minutes.

Then, add water and let it cook for 35 minutes until the tail is tender; add chopped vegetables and cook until ready.

Ingredients

6 Large pieces of beef tail

2 pounds of Potatoes

3 Large carrots

1 Seasoned ayote

1 pound of Cassava

3 Sliced onions

4 Crushed garlic cloves

1 Chopped tomato

1 Bunch of cilantro

1 pinch of Salt

Cumin

2 liters of Water

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot with a little oil, sauté the onion, cilantro, crushed garlic, and the chopped tomato, all seasoned with cumin.

Step 2 : Once the ingredients are sautéed, add the tail pieces and sauté together with the sauté for 10 minutes.

Step 3 : Subsequently, add enough water and let it cook for 35 minutes or until the tail is tender.

Step 4 : Finally, add the previously chopped vegetables in pieces and let them cook until they are done.
