2 Dried fish

1 cup of Whole milk

½ pound of Cream

120 grams of Flour

2 Chopped large onions

3 Crushed garlic cloves

3 Finely chopped chiltomas

4 Chopped tomatoes

Preparation

Step 1 : The fish is soaked to desalinate it.

Step 2 : The fish is boiled in water along with all the ingredients, except the flour, milk, and cream.

Step 3 : When the water is boiling, a mixture of flour, milk, and achiote is prepared by whisking them together.

Step 4 : This mixture is added to the water with the fish pieces and cooked for 30 minutes.

Step 5 : To serve, it is accompanied with tortillas.
