Ingredients

½ pound of Chicken in pieces

1 ½ pound of Chicken necks

5 Chicken thighs with bone

4 liters of Water

1 tablespoon of Annatto paste

2 Garlic cloves

1 Sliced onion

2 Chiltomas in pieces

4 Brushes of mint

1 teaspoon of Salt

1 pound of Quequisque

2 pounds of Yuca

2 Corn on the cob

½ Cabbage

12 Chiltomas

½ pound of Cooked and shredded chicken breast

3 cups of Tortilla flour

½ Sliced onion

1 Garlic clove

2 Brushes of mint

1 Chiltoma

¼ cup of Sour orange juice

1 tablespoon of Annatto

1 teaspoon of Mustard

2 Eggs

30 grams of Butter

2 tablespoons of Oil

1 teaspoon of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious soup, all ingredients should be cooked together for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, until the chicken has released all its flavor.

Step 2 : Then, add the vegetables and continue cooking.

Step 3 : For the meatballs, blend all ingredients except the flour and shredded chicken, then mix with the flour and chicken.

Step 4 : Next, remove the meats and vegetables from the soup, take part of the mixture and dissolve it in 1/2 cup of water. With the remaining mixture, form the meatballs, which are then boiled until they rise to the surface.

Step 5 : Finally, add the previously removed ingredients to the soup, along with chopped tomatoes, sour orange juice, mint leaves, pepper, and salt to taste.

Step 6 : This exquisite soup is served accompanied by corn tortillas.
