Ingredients
1 Indian chicken
3 Corn on the cob
1 pound of Yuca
1 pound of Potato
4 liters of Water
6 Chiltomas (bell peppers)
3 Tomatoes
4 Quequisque (herbs/spices)
1 Cabbage
4 Chilotes (small peppers)
4 Sour oranges (juice of)
1 Onion, cilantro, mint
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, the first step is to thoroughly wash the chicken and cut it into small pieces.
Step 2 : These pieces are placed in 4 liters of water with salt to taste, and left to rest for approximately 2 hours.
Step 3 : After this time, add the chiltomas and garlic, and cook over low heat.
Step 4 : At this point, take the opportunity to add the chilotes, potatoes, corn, yuca, and cabbage, and let it cook for another 30 minutes.
Step 5 : At the end of the 2 hours of cooking, add the sour orange juice, which gives this Nicaraguan dish its characteristic flavor.
Step 6 : Finally, serve with tortillas, white rice, and a delicious curd cheese.
