Ingredients

Nicaraguan Cheese Soup

½ kilogram of Corn dough

½ kilogram of Grated cheese

1 ½ Chicken broth

1 liter of Milk

5 Garlic cloves

4 Chiltomas (bell peppers)

3 Onions

1 tablespoon of Achiote

1 Chopped cilantro branch

1 pinch of Salt

1 kilogram of Cheese

1 kilogram of Corn dough

1 Egg

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, place enough water and cook with the soup ingredients, including onions, garlic, chiltomas, achiote, and cilantro.

Step 2 : Once boiling, add the corn dough with milk to thicken the soup slightly.

Step 3 : Meanwhile, in a bowl, knead the corn dough with grated cheese, beaten egg, and salt to make small dough rings.

Step 4 : In a skillet, fry the dough rings in plenty of oil.

Step 5 : Once ready, serve the rings with the soup.
