Ingredients

1 pound of Rice

½ pound of Beef

2 pounds of Chicken

4 Garlic cloves

½ Stick of butter

2 tablespoons of Corn oil

8 Cherry tomatoes

2 Onions

2 Chiltomas

1 Mint

½ pound of Potatoes

1 Chicken broth

5 Sour oranges

1 Black pepper

1 Tomato sauce

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : The chicken and beef are washed separately in a bowl and marinated with crushed garlic cloves, salt, and a little sour orange juice, letting them marinate.

Step 2 : A garlic clove, onion, tomato, and chiltomas are blended, and this mixture is added to the beef and chicken, allowing it to rest.

Step 3 : Peeled and diced potatoes are boiled in water until half cooked and then set aside.

Step 4 : In a pot with oil, sauté the chopped garlic, onion, and chiltomas, removing them once they are burned.

Step 5 : Then, add the butter, incorporate the rice, and stir well.

Step 6 : Gradually add the beef, chicken, mint, tomato, onion, chiltomas, and the crushed garlic, stirring until the chicken and beef are browned.

Step 7 : Add 2 liters of water, tomato sauce, salt, sour orange juice, and let it cook for half an hour until the rice is soft and thoroughly cooked.

Step 8 : To serve, place in a soup plate with a small sprig of mint, and optionally, add grated cheese to taste.
